About Me
I’m Heather, and I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with understanding, compassion, and a little bit of creativity. Whether you’re feeling lost in the storm or grappling with questions of identity, meaning, or spirituality, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore and heal.
With six years of experience supporting children, youth, adults, and older adults, I specialize in mental health, addiction, grief, trauma, and LGBT2SQ+ navigation. I’m deeply committed to offering therapy that respects your unique journey, blending traditional psychotherapy with spiritual care when it’s meaningful to you. From exploring faith-based perspectives to broader spiritual influences, I tailor our sessions to honor your beliefs and needs.
I approach therapy from a person-centered, trauma-informed, and existential framework, recognizing the importance of your individual experiences and the complex intersectionalities that shape your life. My own journey, including lived experience with addiction and mental health barriers, has instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and connection that informs my work.
I also love integrating nature into therapy—if you’re a fan of the outdoors, let’s bring that into our sessions! My menagerie of pets, including three dogs, three birds, and one cat, constantly remind me of the healing power of connection.
Whether you’re seeking support for acute mental health concerns, navigating spiritual questions, or simply looking for a space to breathe and reflect, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to create a path forward that honors your whole self.
